Our 9th Anniversary is Coming Soon.

We will be celebrating 9 years this year. I know that 10 is the first of the big ones, but we want to do something cool this time. When I say cool, I just mean that I want my wife to be impressed by how little we spent and how nice it is. ( at least I learned that much in the first 9 years)I need some help….Does anybody have any good ideas?????

There are lots of things to see and do around SL County or Utah County that don’t cost anything - museums, church sites, temples - maybe you could try to visit all the temples in Utah!!! Before there are 3 more! Or hike Timpanogos and slide down the glacier! Float a river! Concert in the Park (somewhere). Ride a horse! Some of those things might have a fee, though. And, in July, you might want to find someplace cool. I know - go on the Trek up at Morris Cove with our Stake YMYW! Just trying to brainstorm a little for you. Go to the Anniversary Inn
You can get a flat rate ticket at a Costco (I have a membership) and then stay in any room. This saves 50% depending on the room.
Wendover is fun over night too.
Then there is Vegas. Some of the weekend gettaway packages they pitch in for gas.
Lagoon anyone? I have discount tickets for July 7 and 8.
Or, arrange to have your family watched by me. Stay in your new pad alone with out the interuptions of kids. Make pizza, watch a movie, use a table cloth, add candle lighting, draw a bath with scented oils, rose peddles, music, and a “I love you because card.”
